What we are seeing is the rise of a new type of concealed firearm. A larger grip gun that is slightly larger and easier to handle than a higher capacity pocket pistol. This new type of concealed carry weapon enhances the effectiveness of a small and thin weapon that is easy to carry and in most cases allows for a capacity of ten or more rounds. SIG Sauer started this new trend with the SIG P365 and the industry quickly followed. About a year later, Glock hit us with the redesigned Glock 43X. They took the Glock 43 and expanded the grip to accommodate ten rounds, producing a pistol that could rival the SIG P365. Is that it? Today we are here to find out.
What the P365 and Glock 43X have in common Before we pit these two guns against each other, I want to talk about what they both have in common.

Both weapons are 9 mm caliber, small pistols. Both use a partially cocked striker and both feed from a box magazine. These weapons are small, thin and light. They are designed for easy portability and concealment for everyday use. Both the Glock 43X and the SIG P365 come from reliable companies with excellent reputations for quality, accuracy, and reliability. SIG and Glock are constantly competing for market share in the crowded market for military, police and civilian purchases. No matter what gun you buy, you have a great firearm.
Glock 43x Vs P365: Which Is The Best Concealed Carry Gun?
The biggest show. When looking at these two guns, small differences can make a big difference in everyday carry.
The Glock 43X has a slightly longer 3.41-inch barrel compared to the SIG's 3.1-inch barrel. Overall length is where we see a big difference, and at 6.5 inches, the Glock 43X is 5.8 inches shorter than the P365. The Glock weighs 23.07 ounces, compared to the lighter P365, which weighs 17.8 ounces. Overall, the Glock 43X is a larger and heavier firearm. This can make it easier to control and shoot. It has a longer sight radius which can help with a simpler weapon. However, the SIG's smaller size makes it easier to carry every day.
Capacity Comparison The main thing about these guns is that they are almost as big as pocket pistols, but hold an average of 40% more ammunition than a standard pistol. Both guns come with ten round magazines. The Glock 43X magazines are separate from the Glock 43 and extended Glock 43 magazines will not work with it. The main advantage of the SIG P365 is the ability to use 12 or even 15 round magazines. These are SIG OEM magazines and allow for a larger capacity than the Glock 43X. These magazines make the gun longer and heavier, but the increased capacity may be worth it to some.
Ergonomics The weapons have similar ergonomics. Although SIG made a separate model with a mechanical safety for the Massachusetts, they lack a mechanical safety. Ergonomics can be very personal for some people, so it's something you'll have to decide for yourself. There are a few things I like about the ergonomics of both arms, which we're talking about now.

Neither weapon has a slide bite, even in the highest grips. The original Glock 43 would have eaten my hand, but the 43X has a longer beavertail, which is something I really like. This helps protect my hand and provides more leverage on the gun when coming back. The SIG P365 doesn't have the longer beaver tail, but it doesn't bite the hand. What I like about the P365 is the cut-out below the trigger guard. This allows for a high and comfortable grip to increase control and accuracy as well. Both guns have reversible magazine releases. The Glock 43X sports front and rear sights like the SIG P365. The weapons are both simple and the controls are designed for ease of use. Both guns are easy to control and the guns are intuitive and easy to shoot.
Accuracy and Trigger Both guns are essentially precision pistols. You will have no problem achieving your goal. Which weapon is more accurate? In my experience, I find the SIG P365 easy to shoot accurately, especially at longer ranges.
I have no problem putting ten rounds in the target box at 25 or even 35 yards. The Glock 43X and I have less time together, but I struggled to get decent groups on the target's chest at 35 yards. The main reasons are the pretty badass sights that Glock has included in their guns. The SIG P365's trigger is also smoother, which helps the pistol's accuracy quite a bit. The sights on the P365 are absolutely fantastic, making it an easy shooting gun. In terms of speed and accuracy, I found both guns to be decent, even when it came to double power, Mozambique drills, and other speed-based drills.
Features The Glock 43X is available in either black or nPVD silver and comes with Glock's plastic factory sights. A traditional Glock comes in Tupperware with two round magnets. This is a simple weapon.

The P365 comes with two round magazines, one clear and one with a pink extension. It also comes with SIGs XRAY3 sights with day and night sights. They have tritium inserts in their sights and a green ring around the front sight, which is equipped with a nice green insert for quick acquisition of the front sight. One of the key features of the SIG P365 is the ability to remove the fire control unit and easily switch between frames. Mine is currently in a SIG P365 frame from Icarus Precision, an all-metal frame that offers a slightly larger grip for my size 2XL hands. The ability to easily change frames is a cool concept and I hope to see more of it in the future.
Which one is for you Both guns are great guns. Both are incredibly reliable and both are capable of more than giving you the edge as a concealed carry. I personally prefer the P365, but if you've carried a Glock 43X, you're still well armed. P365 offers more features and higher capacity. I would have no problem carrying a gun or trusting someone with my life. I think the biggest decision will be personal preference. P365 does more for me.
